Here is a farrotto makeover of the cauliflower risotto. The cauliflower disintegrated (bob's fault) and so is not obvious in the photo. Maybe the next attempt will leave it more photogenic. Drunken onions with red wine stain. The bottle was open in the fridge. It did the job.

Well, the next time the cauliflower glitch was fixed...

a few roasted peppers and shitake mushrooms that ani had sautéed up the night before came in handy as flavor addins. Ignore that flat piece of meat in the background.

In a later trial in 2012, bright yellow-orange cauliflower and some extras in the mix made a really tasty product.
